Description:

I'm looking for a Perl Script to query Ebay Products based on search parameters
and send the results into a mysql database. This may require some xml
knowledge…I'm not 100% sure.
::Example Search::
./query_ebay -k "dora backpacks" -l 100 -b
::Parameters::
-k (keyword or keyword phrase)
-l (limit results)
-b (Display ONLY BuyItNow results
::Description Search Detail::
So for example. If you goto Ebay and search for "dora backpacks", you should get
around 300 items. However there are about 202 "Buy It Now" items. The above
script would return the results for the 1st 100 results with the "Buy It Now"
option. It would then send the results into a mysql database. So there would be
100 different items that are put into the database. The below output example
shows the result for only a single item, but there would be 100 of these.
