We need a simple AJAX app to do something like the following:
- Put a content box (similar to the ones on Netvibes.com).
- When the user clicks on the expand button, the content should appear in the
box (again exactly like netvibes).
Here is a more concrete example of the above app:
- Add a content box to my website. The box will look and feel like the boxes
on netvibes.com (so they will have "Expand", "Close" buttons etc.
- When the user hits the expand button, reviews of a given product will be
displayed from Amazon.
So your job will be:
- To code the CSS for the box (that should be real simple)
- Code the AJAX functionality to do the client side interactions.
- Code the PHP functionality on the server side to get the reviews from Amazon
(using their AWS web service).
Needless to say, if you have no experience with AJAX, JavaScript/CSS & PHP,
please do not bid.
Requirements:
1. Project should be clean, stable, secure, well commented, properly written and
structured code. This is important because I will want to add more content boxes
(besides the Amazon example I illustrated above).
2. PHP, JavaScript, AJAX.
3. Must provide progress reports along the development process. You should QA
your work thoroughly. (Needless to say, you should find basic bugs before we do)
