Description: |
For this project I would like to add ecommerce functionality to an existing flash mp3 player. The script will work with Paypal. The ability to work with other payment processors would be great but not necessary. Open to feedback on this. Here's how I'd like the process to go: When the user is listening to the player they are able to click a 'buy this music' button and have a second flash interface overlap the player. This new layer is populated with the playlist of songs. Beside each song in this list, there would be a check box. The user selects the check box for one or more songs that they want to buy, and can click a 'checkout' button. This all takes place in the same flash movie file. Next the user is taken to a Paypal payment page. This page lists the songs that they have selected to buy. After the user continues and payment is successful, they are now automatically delivered only those songs they have specifically selected and paid just for. A possible way to go about this is to have the user forwarded to a dynamically created order success page populated with the (cloaked) location of the mp3 files. They can click on each one to download or 'right click' and 'save as'. Another idea is to have this page expire after a certain amount of time. I have a version of the player that users xml to create a playlist and also one that populates the playlist from songs contained in an mp3 directory using PHP. This can be built upon if you think that's best. Here is the player that I'll like to add ecommerce functionality to: http://www.rasbinghi.com/test.html (still developing) Also somewhere in the script there needs be a way to do the following. 1) Edit song price 2) Impute the paypal address. I'll send the .fla and supporting files upon request. **Additional Notes** This is what I think to be the best method of creating this but if you know of a better way I'm very open to suggestions on this project. Your advice is very much welcomed. I'm looking for someone who can communicate with me through an IM service like msn messenger. Communication is important and this makes it easy for us to clarify any questions either of us might have about the project. I'm also looking to develop a long term win/win relationship. This project will be version 1.0 and I want to add more features as time goes on. If things go well, I have lots of ideas that I need a programmer to help out with so this could lead to much more work. Please don't bid if you're not capable of helping with this project. PM me with any questions you might have and I'll answer asap. My Time Zone is PST (GMT -8:00) **Will put put money into escrow.
