(banners, signs, vehicle graphics, vehicle magnets and the such) I need a way for potential clients to be able to send me a proof of the job they want done (without the use of graphics programs), and for me to be able to give them quotes based upon that. Sooo... I need a website application that is in effect a simple WYSIWYG editor; it would preferably be in Flash, but Java or PHP would also work. The potential customer needs to be able to select the product they need designed and/or produced (banners, t-shirts, vehicle graphics, whatever) and be able to easily make a simple image of what they are looking for in placement and colors. It needs to be user-friendly, in that users have the ability to use around 3-5 embedded fonts, add a border to the outside if they want and maybe a simple shape (a square or circle), the ability to add separate lines of text in various colors, the ability to move and resize text with a mouse cursor (THE MOST IMPORTANT THING) and the ability to send me a proof of the final image via email with contact information and any notes they may have. It would be nice for the customer to be able to upload their logo for the proof and it would also be nice to maybe have the possibility of a clipart gallery I can upload to that can self refresh without any extensive code. I don't need to have a user database or have a login with their information or have pricing. I just need something to help my non-artistic customers (who in the majority are right now are not local) provide me with a graphical representation of what they are looking for so I can provide them with a quote. I would also need the applet to have the ability to allow me to change simple things in it (proof sizes, email address it sends to, color codes, etc.) without macromedia ... if you make it with a template I can do the rest ... it just needs to be modifiable without having to spend weeks locating a tag to change the color of the background of the applet to work with a revision in my site. My server has MySQL and PHP support. And easy to integrate into my webpage would be fantastic so an install script would be great if you use a mysql database, or a way to identify and change settings if I move servers or overhaul/upgrade my website would be nice. **IMPORTANT** I really want details about what you can do pertaining to my job I'm listing and I reaaally need to see something similar or something showcasing what you personally can do that will prove to me that I'm not going to be wasting my time. I don't mind paying alot for a GREAT job if you can prove you can do it but I won't have issues with what you provided making my site turn into a fireball of code that isn't worth more than a broken cd. So please do take more time than pasting a form reply to this listing. I have uploaded and image of what I normally get requests for and what I would want to get in my inbox.
