have been tasked with seeing how much it is going to cost to get this website built. I have limited experience with making websites (I know a little html) so I have no idea what kind of coding or skills are required for this job. I will basically require someone (or a team) to build me a website that is very similar to a price comparison website. The user will search for a particular item, and will then be shown results of the total price including postage and also provide an affiliate link for the user to visit the website. Other requirements will be :- Each user can create an account on the website The ability to track purchases that have been made using an affiliate link and link that purchase to a specific account. An easy to use back end of the site so someone with no website experience can update the website. Essentially I am looking to build a website that is a cashback website like "www.quidco.co.uk" and "pricerunner.co.uk or any other price comparison site" I have no idea if this idea is even feasible or any idea of the cost, so I would appreciate any advice.
