Description: |
I'd like to have the main content boxes on my site appear side by side, and then continue down the page, rather than simply appear one above the other. You can see the current version at peopleinneed.info. I have changed the code so that the boxes are now the correct width - I just don't know how to get them to appear side by side. You can view the altered version at http://peopleinneed.info/index.php/sidebyside/main/ All of the code is available for you in three templates: sidebyside/main, sidebyside/maincontent, and (if you need it) sidebyside/site_css. The changes will need to be made in the 'maincontent' template. To view or make changes to the templates, go to peopleinneed.info/pinsys, and use the username: Side and the password: sidebyside. I'm not sure if this can be done in css (preferably) or needs to use tables - all I know is that it's a little complicated for me to understand how to keep the information in the boxes, instead of spreading into several boxes. Maybe the 'switch' tag needs to be used? Anyway, the reason I am providing direct access to the code is so that you can see everything you need. Please keep in mind that the display order of the content is not fixed; I have it set for random now, but it could be changed to display by date, etc. Thanks, Geoff Related Projects: This project is the proprietary information of .
