Description: |
Creation of website backend required based on PHP/MySQL for property portal. The database driven portal will include various search criteria’s the main one’s being property and agent searches for various countries as well as a simple job search section and CV upload facility. Though the template has been finalised including admin section for agents, the property portal should allow estate/property agents automated uploading of property listings from other property portals (list of other portals will be supplied but not limited to) and manually upload their properties via agents admin page, this will also include manual upload of job advertisements for agents via admin page – template already completed. The main work required will be to, resize template to 800x600 including agent admin section, re-style image & graphics (examples will be shown) with the main emphasis on the following:- redesign logo with possible java script, reproduce icons on agents admin page, produce awaiting photo ‘gif’, redesign of email ‘gifs’, (examples will be shown) drop down menu on new homes section, redesign UK map, (examples will be shown) produce and install favicon, all with depth in colour and detail, taking speed of site as an important aspect. Scripts to be included will be last viewed items, nearest town searches (examples & detailed list of towns will be supplied) property details with photo’s featured above those without photo’s on searches & email templates for customers. The broad goal of the website is to achieve a self sustained portal with the latest advances in programming with very little if at all any future programming required. Our goal for the master control panel is to achieve a very simple GUI to control the whole website to add or remove data i.e. a modular system in the mould of xigla http://www.xigla.net/absolutecp/xlaabsolutecp/menu.asp or Edge Panel http://www.renaxsolutions.com/html/edgepanel.php , though of course tailored to our unique applications. This should include a simple to use WYSIWYG HTML editor, the HTML editor should allow for creation and easy update of new site pages, news section i.e. news feeds and so on. Banner management on every page of the website with a WYSIWYG type of preview before adding banner (though this can be part of HTML editor software) with tracking and rotation on every page i.e. http://www.xigla.com/absolutebm/demo.htm this should include plain white sample banner templates in the following sizes :- 468x60, 234x60, 135x55, 120x60, 125x125, 100x100, 120x600 & 729x90. One email management software to include mass mailing & stats for different categories i.e. UK, Spain, USA etc… with logo branded email templates ready to use .i.e. http://www.xequte.com/maillistking/ Invoice software with automated (scheduled) and manual input of invoices with logo branded templates ready to use. CV search ability i.e. via name, email address or trade category. Web stat software with real time monitoring i.e. http://www.123loganalyzer.com/sample/ to include portal bandwidth analyzer, access via one i.p. address for agents and hacker detection with the ability to block i.p. addresses i.e. http://www.whoson.com/whoson/tour4.htm NOTE: It is important to be able to automatically upload (simple FTP from server to server) to and from other portals, agents (property) details as this will avoid duplicating work for agents and thus making it convenient to advertise on the portal, the information fed across will be filtered into the portal advert format i.e. with & without photo, agents address, contact details etc…, (portal format examples will be forwarded) this access will be controlled & administrated via master control panel to include all agents on any one particular property software (though this access should include the ability to change FTP uploads to include photo’s or no photo’s from individual agents), programmers or companies unable to deliver this function will not be considered, only manual uploading of properties will not be adequate. Agents admin page should show stats of hits on each property (already added to admin template) with hits on agents website and total number of emails sent, though hits on website and total number of emails sent can be added to web stat software on master control panel on a individual basis. A live chat software that can be added via master control panel to agents listing i.e. http://www.kasamba.com/Advice/Browse/ViewCategory.aspx?desid=4&Catid=106&banid=2626 The portal should include standard secure security features such as encryption, robot.text (for spiders) especially for login areas as the agents will require email addresses and passwords to logon, anti-leech, encryption of email forms, database security i.e. http://www.sourceguardian.com/ (especially on passwords & CV’s) and web server security, data backup (this can be via simple remote method on master console onto cd) as well as but not limited to ssh access for the master control panel. Creativity & attention to detail is a must throughout the project, as the image protraited has to be one of a professional corporate company, getting the little things right is what we seek, we are not looking for amateur coders with a bit of experience in each of the applications mentioned, so thorough knowledge and experience of languages and operating systems is needed, hence we prefer that an established and innovative programming team take on this project and of course use their own original code not third party codes, companies bidding will need to show a list of credentials and verifiable achievements. A small fee as part of the whole bid should include support for 24 months if required for uploading data from new or existing software to our portal and for any application, security or script issues, though if the project is executed correctly this should not be necessary. I will be able to assist in negotiating between other software portals for FTP information required for uploading to our portal. Project will be deemed incomplete until all companies (list to be supplied) can upload to our portal. I will send template links of our website to prospective coders so that they may see the current site before a bid is placed. We can work in stages of completion if this suits the programmer or company, redesign of website as first stage, master control panel as second stage, and so on. OTHER DELIVERABLES: 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables) : a) Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire”. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc.) Project funds will be placed in escrow before programming begins. In addition, we are willing to consider the following payment options: 1) Release of funds on a stage basis. Details and proposed stages must be agreed upon by both parties. 2) If you are an established programming company, we will consider one of the above-mentioned stages to include prototype completion. 3) A non-disclosure including exclusive and complete copyrights agreement to all work purchased will need to be signed before start of project. 4) Under no circumstances will we consider releasing any portion of the escrowed funds at the beginning of the project before any work has been done. If you cannot accept this requirement, please do not bid on this project. We also require that you respond to any issues within 24 hours and that you are available via email, MSN messenger and phone regularly and are fluent at English.
