I am tasked with converting my wife’s current web site
http://www.oldkidsbooks.com to ZenCart or OsCommerce.
The current web site is a custom .asp / Access based site and our designer
abandoned us.
We need to have all data (about 5000 books) converted to OSC/ZenCart and custom
fields or new Product Type called Books with about 20 new fields and changing
the display name of some of the others.
Example: rename “Manufactured by” to “Publisher” rename “Model” to “ISBN” etc.
The style, color etc needs to resemble the old site and images, colors, text,
etc can be re-used from it.
I own my own server and have already installed both ZenCart and OSC, MySql etc
on a test site, once the new site is ready I will switch it over. I just need
someone to do the layout, design and data conversion.
As far as what software to use I am looking for suggestions.
Future changes will be needed and requested based on the quality of work
performed.
