many of the features we wish to implement and will state those accordingly below. The scripts however do need customizing. We also have a template that we wish to use. The home page and some other pages have been customized but it needs further refining and integrating. This means we want to hire a good designer (preferably flash experience) and a good developer. The portal will include a dating site. •We already have a dating site (using webDate script – www.webscribble.com) that has been customized but it requires further customization to be satisfactory. However, we are also willing to look at a new dating site and migrating the existing user's details into the new site. •The payment system we wish to implement is Paypal and we will have three forms of payment – a one off lifetime membership or one based on a monthly timeframe. The third will include “tokens” so for example, a member will pay $20 for 10 tokens which means that they can contact (email) ten times. •The dating section (which we call “networking”) needs to have just one registration page which is unified with the portal registration. Currently it has four. It also needs to feature a dynamic list of Australian states, territories and postcodes when registering to make it easier for members to register and for search capabilities. •Networking feature will include affiliates. Affiliates can register and will be paid commission on every new “paying” member they bring to us. We already have several affiliate scripts but you need to choose the best one and customize. •Photos need approval by the administrator. •Real time chat rooms for paid members only. •Top members (with photos) will be featured on the portal to attract new members and entice old ones back. The portal will have the following features: •Two classifieds – one as a normal classifieds and the other as a job listing/posting section. Classifieds will be free for a normal listing or bold (featured) for a fee. Job postings will be fee based and the cost will depend again on whether it is a normal listing (cheaper) or a bold listing (more expensive). •Business Directory – businesses can upload their business information for either free or bold (featured) for a fee. •Forum for all users. •Calendar (including party planner) •Updated news from the website. •News & current event feeds (Straits Times, SMH, etc). We will source the feeds but they need to be implemented. •Weather feed (again, to be sourced by us but implemented by you). •Content Management for Creation of Static Sites •Secure Online shop with ecommerce/paypal •Banner rotation-Ad management (already have functioning script that needs just a little tweaking) •E-card section (cards to be sourced by us) and already have script. •Horoscopes (already have script). •Member polls (already have script). •Live support (already have script). •Music jukebox (already have script). •Photo album (for admin to post photos of events etc). •Subscribe/unsubscribe to newsletters (for members and non-members). Ability to send html newsletters from admin page to all subscribers (have script already on server for this) from the home page. •Tell-a-friend from the home page. •There should be three categories of users 1.Ordinary Members - Can Post to Forums, News, Classifieds and Calenders 2.Non Profit Organizations such as clubs and societies - Can Post to Business Directory, Calender, News, Classifieds, job-listing either free or cheaper fee than business. 3.Businesses - Can Post to Business Directory, Calender, News, Classifieds either free or fee. •For every single action a business users posts something there should be a record created that you can do a billing at the end of a month •Administration Interface •Administrator has to approve every posting. •Billing Interface to calculate what has to be billed at the end of a month. •You can use standard software (eg for the shop, the forum etc.) but you have to integrate it so it looks like one piece of software. •We also need the ability to add new features/modules in the future. We like to update the look of the site using Frontpage so please keep this in mind when developing. We do not want bells and whistles like heavy flash usage or music as our site will be aimed at professionals who will be viewing the site from work and home. We want a unified login (portal and networking) and unified registration for both portal and networking (please explain how we can achieve this). We want the portal to be user friendly. We only want to hire a trustworthy, very competent developer/designer who can deliver what we have asked for and someone who has experience in this field. If you are unsure at all, please do not bid. Prior to accepting any bid, we would like to see your previous work. Please explain on your bid why you think we should award this project to you.
