Description: |
I am looking for a flash developer (DESIGNER first, PROGRAMMER second) who can create an e-commerce site to sell a food product. i plan to have the site be the sole representation of my business for now. therefore i need this site to be top-notch quality (good enough to garner a Webby or similar and be considered a web 3.0 site) 1)check out this site: designarchives.aiga.org and then click on "browse archives" play around with it and look at how you can drag items to and fro the toolbox. drag items that you want and then go to a slideshow that's as fast and simple as possible. i need an ecommerce site similar to this concept. i also happen to like the way navigation is presented without any words. you should be able to come up with something like this. 2)www.mightyleaf.com and www.tazo.com before i go about having the site actually implemented, i've been trying to figure out what visuals should i use to invoke a sense of uniqueness and likeability. most other tea sites such as mightyleaf.com and adagio.com have tea leaf visuals while tazo.com makes it like a journey into a long lost civilization. so when you reply, please give me some ideas as to what to do so at least i can gauge how creative your mind works. you should be able to come up with visuals and images like them in your work. after extensive research and taste testing my products are absolutely the best tasting hands down compared to my competitors due to the freshness, the packaging and regions where my products are imported from. with that much quality, the site also needs to convey the same reputation. I prefer to have a zen-like tranquilty to the site, with a minimalist aesthetic appeal (but not necessary if you can convince me otherwise). The catch is that there are only about 10 to 15 items to be sold - each one unique and requiring equal attention to detail. NO CHEESY GRAPHICS! from my own understanding and research into people, my target audience will likely be: hipsters, the technorati, college students, computer programmers/nerds and book worms. since this site is flash, it could potentially ward off non computer literate people due to the computer requirements, high-bandwidth requirements and reliance on visual identifiers for usage of the website. but i intend it to be that way if it's to attract the above. alex ps. i'm not sure what my budget will be like but i'm posting these requirements to see what to expect. my final requirement is that this project be paid via module completion, not hourly. i used to be a network programmer/admin so i know how to setup and administer my own server. I already have my logo, and text so all i need is the code and graphics. my best friend is a graphic designer from SVA in NYC so I also will understand how to work with you on the design aspect. unfortunately, she is not available for this project. oh yes, you should also know how to make my site search-engine optimized. pss. you will be working with someone who accepts only excellence and never ceases to challenge your thought process and creativity. so please do not come to me with bullshit this and that. please include your portfolio and explain your design process. all others will be ignored. but i promise i don't hurt and i will accomodate you to the best of my ability. thanks for reading all the way through!
