FOR xamdam91 FIRST!!!
Timesheet things
-First of all our pay period is every 14 days. So the pay period may be in 2
months? I don't know how to go about connecting the data. How can this be made
easier? Or will it not be a problem?
- Make drop down boxes for the managers names in the labor section. Day and
night
- The owner wants the employees to only hit a button next to their name and it
inputs the time in the into their row, and right column. Maybe an in button and
a out button? We have a lot of employees that like to party and are hung over
some times and enter the wrong times and/or put it in the wrong name, and/or
day. The thing with this is that the macro will have to know how to split the
time up into before 4pm and after 4pm. Since some of the shifts will be in
both, but we still want to get an accurate labor for each managers shift. The
question with this is what will happen when I fire an employee or need to add an
employee? Should the employee sheet be the main sheet that I use to add or
delete employees? Just make the name on the timesheets be linked to the
employee name sheet. So when I change it on the emp sheet it changes it on the
timesheet.
-I will just protect the whole timesheet and only have the manager know the
password in case they need to change someones time and for when they need to
enter the sales amount for their shift!
-I don’t really know but I think it would make everything easier if on the
timesheets it said the day and then the name of the day in the next cell,
therefore you could call a column by date? Instead of saying- Mon 24 say
4/24/2006 Mon
-Then have a export button to export and “save” (have a prompt ask if you’re
sure your ready for export? Yes, or no)the shift sales and the labor hours into
the managers column in the labor sheet (monthly sales workbook) For that day!

In the monthly sales sheet I took the labor section off the sales sheet and gave
it a new sheet "LABOR".
-The data for this sheet comes from the Timesheets at the bottom! A macro would
have to look at the date for the day, and look at the manager, and then import
it into the right managers column (adjusted sales for that shift, and labor
hours for that shift.)
- Also make the days # match up with the Day – mon, tue, wed. _Just like you
did for the sales sheet- When it imports the first day it adjusts accordingly.
Puchase sheet- Also make the days # match up with the Day – mon, tue, wed.
_Just like you did for the sales sheet- When it imports the first day it adjusts
accordingly.

The I wrote what to do on the daily sales sheet on the actual sheet!! In yellow
