Description: |
Preface: I'm currently having a Photography E-Com site built for buying photos online. I store the high resolution photos on a local Linux machine (LAMP) and access via windows with samba, so only the "webified" images are online My thoughts are to have my site have an export script, which will export orders and detailed info about the order via a file (in a specific format) PROJECT DETAILS: I need a local PHP script or JAVA pgm to use this txt file to "find" the files locally (the dir structure on the web will be identical to the structure local so the paths would line up exactly), create a directory in a special location, say called ./orderloc/ORDER_XYZ_12345 and copy the hi-res files into this for easier processing, along with creating a summary text file of what is needed to do with every image present.. example... a format for the XML file ORDER XYZ-#12345 IMAGE1: ./1/2/3/a.jpg IMG1INSTRUCT: Sepia IMAGE2: ./1/2/3/b.jpg IMG2INSTRUCT: B&W IMAGE3: ./1/2/4/c.jpg IMG1INSTRUCT: COLOR, SLOPPYBORDER etc.. SPECIAL: Please crop image a.jpg to show the detail of the person above. blah blah blah ORDER ORDER XYZ-#345345 IMAGE1: ./1/2/3/a.jpg IMG1INSTRUCT: Sepia IMAGE2: ./1/2/3/b.jpg IMG2INSTRUCT: B&W IMAGE3: ./1/2/4/c.jpg IMG1INSTRUCT: COLOR, SLOPPYBORDER etc.. SPECIAL: Please crop image a.jpg to show the detail of the person above. blah blah blah ORDER This would save me the time so I personally don't have to hunt and peck for the images, and compare to my online orders, etc.. they will all be encapsulated in a dir, for my quick photoshop processing. I invision this to have a very simple front end.. and possibly a DB backend to track what it has done. The interface would have a "pending order queue", and I can mark complete, or remark as pending (possibly comments ie. Processed 123, haven't done 456 yet), and it would either delete the order DIR, or rename the dir to "COMPLETED_Order_12345" once marked "Done" Related Projects: This project is the proprietary information of .
