General Information Project Title: Big Rig interactive Inspection Project Budget: Confidential (to be discussed) Qualifications and Experience Required Primary Skill: 3D Modeling/animation Secondary Skills: Flash Presentation Location Requirements Must Work on Premises? No Description: Objective: Create a flash driven interactive animation of 18 wheeler and box truck. Deadline Oct 1st 2008 Animation will be used in elearning course for commercial drivers. The student logs on through our online program (developed by a different company) and chooses the Pretrip Inspection course work of our program. Student will view two trucks (flash) Truck #1 - 18 wheeler Class A (tractor/trailer) Truck #2 - Straight truck Class B Student then clicks on the truck he/she would like to inspect and truck is brought to full view with list (may be buttons) of the types of inspections able to be preformed. Inspections: #1 walk around - student will be able to completely inspect all of the components found on the outside of the truck such as lights mirrors windshield wipers wheels airlines exhaust pipes fuel tanks steps bumpers etc #2 engine compartment - when student picks this option the hood of the truck opens or they are cut to full view of engine compartment and the three main systems of the engine compartment (steering system, air brake system and front suspension system) are highlighted among other things like oil check fan belt check etc. #3 In-cab Inspection - student has full view of inside as though he were sitting at thecontrols with complete details of each guage pedal knob and switch he will then be able to turn the enginne on and preform various test as required by the sec of state in order to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition. This is a brief explanation of the project there are many more details to go over as always with similar projects.
