Description: |
Hello, I'd like to add a shopping cart to my website that will sell only two products (digital and tangible versions of the same product). I already have the design so you do not have to do any design whatsoever but you will have to integrate site's CSS with osC. That shouldn't be a big deal since I don't plan on using osC's catalog and other osC features. For the project, I'd like to use osCommerce since it's free and there are plenty of contributions out there that can be used freely. I'd also like to use Autoresponse Plus 3. Please, bid on this project ONLY if you know how to use these two packages and you've used them in the past! Here's what needs to be done: 1) Product description will be on the main page and the main page will have two buttons: buy product 1 or buy product 2. Depending on which they click, they will be taken to a checkout with the product in the cart. I do not want to use osC's catalog etc. That's too complicated for only two products. 2) We will use a two step checkout process. 1st step will be to get a person's email, name and country. After they enter that, they will choose a method of payment and click on either a Paypal or credit card button. In the background, we will notify ARP3 that someone has initiated the checkout process. (We will email them with ARP3 in case they abandon their shopping cart. I will provide PHP source for this.) 3) In the next step, they will be either taken to PayPal screen or to Step 2 of the CC checkout. There, they will enter their CC info, shipping address and they will be able to complete their order. 4) If they ordered a digital product, they will be provided a download link. 5) Site will be based in Canada so tax details and shipping modules for products will have to be set: http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,1390 6) Also, a gift/voucher osC Contribution installation would be nice. As part of the project, I'd like brief notes/instructions of: a) what contributions did you install, b) what I need to do to replicate this on a different server (if I need to change the host). As an example of this checkout process, take a look here (note: not my site): www.silvaultramindsystem.com/products/ Try the checkout and see what I mean. I want something that works almost exactly like this. I will provide you with the details of my webhosting account. Payment will be done through escrow. Happy bidding! PS: As a bonus, I will give you the copy of the product that I intend to sell :) Related Projects: This project is the proprietary information of .
