This will be a portal site with the following features: - Member profiles - Forum - News & Announcements - Blog - "Journals" similar to the Diaries on dailykos.com I'd also like to incorporate various advertisements: - Google ads - Banner ads - Daily sponsorship, where one sponsor gets mentioned on the site for an entire day I'd like to use an open-source portal system to manage the site, such as Mambo or PHP-Nuke.
