This includes resale rights - we may ask for this in a contract so coder must be of age of legal responsibility. The search will work based upon keywords that a user has listed their site under. Search results should be ranked according to the bid that the user (website owner/promoter) has put on their directory listing. Higher bids should rank 1st, lower bids rank later, etc. As well as the search engine + directory, the site needs space for 2 banner ads (468X60), space for google adwords or similar code, space for an rss news feed (for example CNN or BBC news feeds), featured listings + most popular searches. Banner ads should be displayed on every page. Seperate control is needed over top + bottom banner ads so each position can be sold seperately. Banners should appear in a random order. Featured listings - these should appear on every page. There will be 5 listings in total an should appear in a random order each time. Website must include excellent graphics. An installer program should be included so that it can easily be installed to any linux hosting account. Admin control panel: An admin control panel is needed where the site admin can: Add credits to any account. Approve listings - All listings need to be approved by the admin before appearing in the directory. Admin should be able to approve a listing at the touch of a button. Once the listing is approved an email should be sent to the user. If a listing is denied there should be space for the admin to write the reason for denial + then an email with the details should be sent to the user. Edit site content - users should be able to add rss news feeds (example CNN news feed) + add google adwords/similar ads through a graphical interface. Control advertisements - approve,add,and view stats of 468 X 60 banner ads + featured listings. Send out newsletter - all users should be added to a mailing list + admin should be able to send out a newsletter (including html) to every email address on the mailing list. Mailing list should be editable should any user choose to unsubscribe. Setup area - where the website admin can add/change the following: Their contact details, Their paypal email address, The minimum deposit a customer can make, Cost of advertisements. All changes made via this control panel must appear in the site immediately. User control panel: Users need to be able to buy credits for clicks (pay per click). Users need to be able to bid for listings in directory categories. When bidding for listings users should also be allowed to list keywords which they want their listing to appear under in the search. Each listing that is clicked on by a unique visitor should subtract the bid amount from the user's listing credits account. Only unique users within a 12 hour period should be counted to stop competitors spamming each others listings + using up their credit. Users will need an account summary page which lists how many of their credits have been used, how many are remaining, and total clicks on all their listings combined. Users need a listings summary page which shows listings, the bid amount, total clicks on each individual listing, total credits used by each individual listing. User control panel should also have a link to buy more credits via a checkout system. A checkout system is needed so that users can purchase bidding credit. Checkout should be integrated with paypal so that once payment is made bidding credits are credited directly to the user's account. A minimum account deposit, controlled via admin setup control panel should apply. Checkout system should also include the option to buy banner ads or featured listings at prices defined by the admin through the admin setup control panel. Any changes to the prices made via the admin control panel should be reflected immediately and automatically in the checkout. Banner ads and featured listings must wait for admin approval before being added to the site. Admin should be able to approve banner ads + featured listings at the click of a button. We will require the script with and without categories added. The script with the categories added should include all the yahoo directory categories and main subcategories. A basic layout image will be provided. This will have no graphics, only highlight the general layout that the site needs to be designed to. Payment will be made upon successful completion, a downpayment can be arranged. All payments will be made by paypal only. Please do not bid if you cannot accept paypal. We are looking for this to be completed to beta stage within 2 weeks.
