Description:	I would like to set up my own home server for testing purposes. I have installed apache 2, php 5 and MySQL 4. All are the latest available version for windows xp professional. The apache server appears to be working, as does php (i unzipped and followed the instructions but am unsure if it is correct) MySQL runs via console, but I cannot connect via php, even using root, etc. I am an experienced php programmer, but have no idea how to set up a whole webserver, running mysql. I would like someone to either guide me through it by messenger, or to do it for me. I have a fast permanent connection. Please note that this is not a hosting server for anything other than my own private work/experimentation. Security is a must, as is a good description of what I must do.
