I am looking to design a new website for our business. We are selling high end professional photographic and video equipment, primarily marketing ourselves to professional photographers. The site must be reliable, very fast, easily accessible and navigable, and of course with highly appealing presentation and layout. one example of the kind of thing we are looking for is as follows: https://www.camerasdirect.com.au/index.php although of course with our own distinct brand and products. The website will be primarily oriented towards the catalogueing of our products, however will also have a page for testimonials, about, blog. The testimonials page will need to include facility for including photos of customers, as well as possibly video testimonials [please specify clearly if your quote includes this feature or not]. There will also be content pages containing reviews of products, [which will hopefully help with SEO], and we want to work strongly on having affiliation programs linked to other websites, primarily in Australia [the affiliation part will be an optional in the initial design of the website, please specify whether you would be including this kind of service in your provided quote]. The shopping cart/checkout should include a postage calculator [based on the cost of the item, and preferably a state-by-state teiring structure], as well as options to ad extras, such as extended warranty, battery, CF card, etc upon checkout. Also there will need to be a facility for imposing a Credit Card surcharge. Optional [perhaps tp pursue later]: Ideally we would like to have a flash banner/header, involving the theme of cameras/photography, to compliment the look and feel and professionalism of our site. So the project will involve design of the overall site, some graphic design [we have a logo in development, however would like to further develop the header, possibly with flash - as mentioned], and importantly, we will need SEO, both organic through Google, Yahoo, MSN, as well as some development of CPC adverts such as google adwords, and also optimisation for best achieving rankings in sites such as myshopping.com.au, shopbot.com.au. Please state clearly if your quote will include SEO [or if we will arrange for this to be done separately], and what your expected rankings will be [we would like to be in top 5 for google, yahoo, MSN]. We will need the website integrated with our payment gateway [which is provided by our bank] as well. We are also wanting a template page designed for our ebay store as well [pref with flash-banner] which will have matching look and feel, and cross links to our free-standing website.
