Howdy. I’m starting to look to outsource the bulk of my photography workflow, wondering if anyone is interested, or if you can refer me to a shop that you trust. My workflow would look something like this: 1. I upload .cr2 & .jpg files (probably in an iView / Microsoft Expression Media catalog) to an ftp site 2. You do the initial ranking (1=delete; 2=barely better than deletable; 3=not bad; 4=show to client; 5=going into a final product (book or print or slideshow)) 3. Family Portrait a. You assemble a master family portrait, assembling the best expressions and smiles etc. from multiple head-swaps from multiple photos (shot with a tripod) b. You tone the master family portrait into a finished high resolution printable presentable masterpiece i. for women: slimming / weight reduction, wrinkle reduction, skin softening; ii. for men: slimming / weight reduction; iii. for entire group: eye brightening & sharpening, curves, color correction, vignette, etc. c. I review and return to you for any final adjustments d. You make all finished files available to me in both high resolution and approximating XGA web resolution (approximately 1024 x 768) 4. Photojournalistic family event photos a. You do basic toning (curves) on all 4s and 5s b. I review and ask you to do further work on my favorites c. You make all finished files available to me in both high resolution and approximating XGA web resolution (approximately 1024 x 768) d. After client review, I ask you to do final toning and retouching on the client’s favorites: i. for women: slimming / weight reduction, wrinkle reduction, skin softening; ii. for men: slimming / weight reduction; iii. for entire group: eye brightening & sharpening, curves, color correction, vignette, etc. e.
