Description: |
All I need is for someone to create a script that will make a folder structure with index.shtml files in them based on keywords I submit into a form. This script shouldn't be that hard to create... but I'm no programmer. All this script needs to do is create folders, subfolders, and index files. The script doesn't have to do anything else... it doesn't even have to be dynamic. Here is how the diretory structure works... There are main keyword folders and sub key folders. So for example, here are the main keywords... domain.com/harley_davidson/ domain.com/harley_rental/ domain.com/harley_dealers/ "harley davidson", "harley rental", and "harley dealers" are the main keywords. Here are the "sub keywords" for the main keyword harley davidson... domain.com/harley_davidson/harley_davidson_motorcycles/ domain.com/harley_davidson/harley_davidson_parts/ "harley davidson motorcycles" and "harley davidson parts" are the sub keywords for "harley davidson". Each main keyword has sub keywords. In each folder there needs to be an index.shtml file. And the index file will be based on a template I provide. So every index file will be same. Easy right? Well the only hard part (if you can call it that) is that you need to be able to insert the KEYWORD into the INDEX FILES at certain points. So the template might look something like this... [HTML] [HEAD][TITLE]DomainName.com - {KEYWORD} Information[/TITLE] ... And where {KEYWORD} is, the script will put "Harley Davidson" (or whatever the keyword is). And the keyword has to be in "proper case" (the beginning of each letter is upper case). The main keyword index file needs to have links to all it's sub keywords. That way when people go to "Harley Davidson" they can click on "Harley Davidson Parts" or "Harley Davidson Motorcycles" and are taken to the sub pages. Here is how I image the backend working... Step 1. There will be a form where I paste the main keywords. Each keyword will be on a seperate line. Step 2. After I hit submit, It will list all the keywords and each keyword will be a link. I click on the first keyword link... Step 3. There is another form like in step one. I insert the sub-keywords for that keyword I just clicked on and hit submit. Step 4. I'm taken back to the list of keywords from step 2. The first keyword has a check mark next to it (or anything to let me know I did the first keyword) Step 5. I click on the next keyword and continue on and on and on until all the keywords are done. Step 6. When all the keywords are done, There should be a link to a page that lists every keyword I entered, one keyword per line. Step 7. The final step is to click on a button and the script creates all the folders/files in the main direcory of my site. If there are other features you think would be useful, let me know. But that is just a basic example of what I need... anythign else is icing on the cake. Related Projects: This project is the proprietary information of .
