i closed the old one and have relisted..so here goes. i currently have a database script for my website from a company called EZscripting. the script is written in perl. The data is stored as a CSV database. Customers who need to unlock their phone (so that they may switch service providers) come to my site and purchase an "unlock code". It's a special number that the customer must enter into his phone to free it from his network. They load my site, place their order, and are sent a link to a form where they must submit me their cellphone info. They must submit their IMEI number (a special 15 digit number that each phone has), their model, network, and email address. a picture with how the admin area should look like has been attached. If you take a look at it, it should make things more clear as you read. 1)the script must allow me to enter an IMEI number with its unlock code (format imei:unlock, looks like 387100305632672:67855455 ). it will search for the IMEI in the database and when found it will put the appropriate unlock code in the UNLOCK field. But it must also email the customer, so here are the details regarding that. i have 2 options, "Code Found" or "Not Found", because i can either have the unlock code, or his code is not available. So the typical situation is i receive the imei:code from my dealer, now i must update my database with these new codes and also email the customer his code at the same time. So i enter these imei:codes in the IMPORT LIST box, chose "Code Found" from the pulldown list, click update, and it updates the database (putting his unlock code in the UNLOCK field) and sends the customer his emails. if their code is not available, then i will need to inform the customer and also refund him. So what i need to have the script do is i would chose "Not Found" from the pulldown list, so when i click the UPDATE button it will send the customer an email saying his code is not available, and change the UNLOCK field to "not found-refunding". 2)each record in the database will have 1 checkbox. if checked, any of the following actions can apply to that record: -the DEALER field can be updated to any of the dealers selected from the pulldown menu, or take no action (meaning dont change this field, leave as is). There must also be a way to add new dealers. -the UNLOCK field can be updated to PROCESSING, NOT READY, INVALID-REFUNDING, INVALID-REFUNDED, or take no action. -there is an option to export any of the records i chose. records will be exported and displayed in the "EXPORT List" box for me to be able to copy.
