We have chosen an open source php program that does 2/3 of the site that democracyforamerca .com site can do. Please reveiw this site's functionality before submiting a bid. The functionality that we need to develope would be to add search and browse features for people, events, and groups by distance, zip codes, and interestes. (similar to online dating) It will be a very interactive site. I'm looking for a long term realtionship. For this phase of the project we will need: Technical We are looking for senior PHP developers, LDAP expertise, Macromedia Flash architects and senior actionscript (including SOAP) developers and senior client side developers. Platform requires PHP version 4.x. Database We use the ADOdb (stands for Active Data Objects Data Base), Template phpMailer ADOdb Text Wiki following tools: Linux PHP Apache mySQL phpMyAdmin Part 2 of the project will be to fully intergrate an online magazine with the site using an open source tool like wordperfect or moveable type.
