PROJECT DESCRIPTION: I need a PHP script to add/delete Wordpress v2.2 blogroll links. The script must be able to read links from a csv file. Format of the CSV file will be something like this: subdomain1.domain1.com,blogadmin1,adminpass1,F:/linkfilefoler/linkfilename1.txt,category1 subdomain2.domain1.com,blogadmin2,adminpass2,C:/linkfilefoler/linkfilename2.txt,category2 domain2.com,blogadmin3,adminpass3,D:/linkfilefoler/linkfilename3.txt,category3 ….. Basically, each line is for one blog – installed on EITHER a domain OR a subdomain. Links for each blog is stored in a linkfile on a local computer drive. The link file is a txt file in this format: Link Text,URL First Link,http://firstlink.com/blahblahblah Second Link,http://www.second-link-domain.com Third Link,http://www.thirdone.com Best Search Engine,http://yahoo.com ……. Main functions of this script should contain: (1) It should be able to delete all existing links and replace them with links contained in the linkfile, and assign them into the correct category. (2) If the linkfile field in the CSV file is empty, the script should leave the existing links alone. (3) If the linkfile is an empty file, which means it only contains a header row (Link Text,URL) but no links, the script should remove all existing links. (4) It should also output script execution result on screen, such as SUCCESS, or FAILED – in which case it should output some basic error messages such as incorrect password, MySQL has gone away, no connection to MySQL etc. to help with diagnosis. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Please take a look at all attached 4 screenshots. There are only 2 Wordpress MySQL tables are involved: wp_links - Add link_url and link_name (link text) wp_link2cat - Associate a link with a category_id I will give the winning bidder access to a Wordpress v2.2.3 site, its MySQL database, and a CSV file for testing purpose. REQUIREMENTS This is a very simple project for an experienced programmer in PHP with a good understanding of MySQL. Please make sure that you can be reached easily via live chat service such as MSN Messenger or Yahoo Messenger etc. This project shall be completed no more than 3 days after your acceptance of this project.
