Description: |
My project is to create an online form for artists to submit and upload their artwork to my site. I had a Romanian programmer from Scriptlance.com who created the form and the work was progressing very nicely, and then he disappeared after asking for an advance payment which I foolishly agreed to. So now I have this ¾ completed project which I wish to finish. This is the summary of the project work involved: 1. Artist accesses the form and fills in the requisite fields and clicks on Submit. 2. He is taken to the intermediate page where he is able to view his entries and image uploaded. At the bottom of the page, he is given the option to go back and edit the details, or to confirm the submission. 3. On confirming the submission, he is taken to the confirmation page at which thanks him for his submission. 4. The site administrator (me) receives an email notification to visit the form admin page to review the list of submissions. I can click on the Preview hyperlink for each submission to go to see the submission and image. 5. I am able to accept or reject the submission. On acceptance, the record should be added to the eHangar.com database. Other notes: 1. I would like all the forms to be wrapped into a PHPNuke module and work within the framework of my eHangar.com site. 2. The form script must make a copy of the uploaded image. If this copy image is larger than 500 pixels and file size 35kb, must be resized to 500 pixels and/or reduced to file size of 30 kb, in JPG or PNG formats. A watermark stamp must also be added to the image. The original uploaded image must be left untouched. 3. I have another script that, when images are uploaded, creates three other sizes and renames them. I would like the form to integrate to work with this script. I have a tight budget, so please, no outrageous quotes. Please view the attached document for further details on this project. I do have many other improvements I want made to the site. However, this first project is important for me to be able to sell advertising space to people so I can bring in some money, which in turn means more development work for you if you are the right candidate. SPECIAL NOTE: I said that the project is 3/4 way done by a previous programmer, who ran off before he finished it properly. The first part of my description above, points 1-4, was what he completed. Its functional now, but not pretty. You only need to tidy up the code and ensure it works well. The next part, which I need someone to do for me, is to integrate the form to my database. Anyone good with PHP and MySql should be able to do this properly and relatively easily. I estimate that the image upload, resizing and watermarking may present a bit of challenge, but if you are familiar with image handling, then this should not be too much of a problem. As mentioned, this website, which is up and running, is being upgraded, and so the right person will have more projects from me. I'm looking for a good programmer I can work with at reasonable cost. I would estimate a reasonable bid to be about $50. If you can show that you can do it quickly and well, I will consider a higher bid.
