For Membership Management Site

1. We need sync of databases, currently have two different databases,
one is php with mysql database on a linux server and the other windows server
with asp/MS access database.

You may have a script for this already or perhaps can find an open source
utility to import the order info from ms access database to mysql/php database,
or perhaps code the asp ordering system to write the details straight to the
mysql database at the same time it is writing to the access database. (WHATEVER
YOU feel most comfortable doing - BUT it must be a reliable solution and YOU
MUST be totally confident in pulling this off FAST. I need it added tonight
(NOW) and ready for me to present to the client in the morning ! So - NO
PRESSURE - any time in the next few minutes is fine with me :)

Bit more detail : We need orders info in mysql database so that certain aspects
of the php/mysql site can check that the order is submitted and that the member
is currently a "Paid member"

The php/mysql site currently uses iframe to show the asp side

Please help me to get the data in php/mysql then the iframe will be not needed.
Please replace iframe with php page so we dont use the remote data anymore.

- Once this is done – 2 other tasks are possible

2. Once the financial stuff is done - another issue to do with adding the
membership renewals to the asp/access cart - Currently it is wrongly coded so
that every visit the member makes to the cart the annual renewal is added. When
the member pays this renewal it should be removed from the cart. PLease make
this happen.

The renewals should only appear in each members cart after the ANNUAL
PROGRESSION button is clicked on the su.php page

This progresses all members to next member level - AND should send the Renewal
fee to the cart ready for the member to pay -

once paid - it should dissappear till next annual progression

the system should not bill them the annual amount every time they visit the
cart !

... so I think that in my very poor laymans terms and knowledge

that this second point would involve at least adding a table with few more
fields to access database to hold the info about the annual renewals - then
change the ASP page so that the cart doesnt ALWAYS display the renewal info - it
just needs to display when the PROGRESSION is submitted

Also need to edit that page to now check the new database field to see if there
is an oustanding renewal -

If not, dont show - if there is, then it should show the amount -

when the member pays it - it should write the fact that it is paid etc.. back
to the mysql so that the other functions back there know that the member is
paid.

3. Search function setup – (not coding) please help me to understand how
something works and using the system that already exists - please set up an
example search for me that we can save for the client to see how it works.

Need your help and writing skills to edit the wording and presentation of the
search function to make it easier to understand for now programmers.

Some of this is confusing so really need someone who knows what they are doing
to grab this project and MAKE IT HAPPEN.

Please bid ONLY IF you are available immediately to do this - I will be picking
someone in the next 3 hours.

Payment for this will be ONLY WHEN COMPLETE AND TESTED.

I will not be doing ESCROW. I will not be doing deposit prior to completion ! I
WILL ONLY PAY WHEN I SEE THIS WORKING ON OUR SERVER WITH MY OWN EYES. Then I
will pay you immediately !
