i have a tgp script which has galleries listed in the mysql database,
i would like to have someone design a scanner, which will spider the galleries,
and take 5 thumbnails which link to a movie or image from the gallery, then
allow me to choose which one i would like saved into the database as a 140x140
thumb.
i have already got the thumbnailing part worked out.
as you can see from my attachment, i have most of it sorted out. if you run the
scan.php?id=1&url=$url
you will see how it currently scans galleries one by one.
then you choose a thumb and it will save that thumbnail into the database.
couple of problems i have though, is that it wont scan images which are linked
to with similar to ../../1.jpg
and also that i would like it to be less hands on.
so that you can choose to scan the photo's and then come back and pick which
one to use for each gallery, 5-10 galleries at a time. similar to
http://dtrotator.com/demo/admin/admin.php?admin=preload_galls&gr=1

i can work the rest of the script out myself, outputting for surfers etc, as i
have done this before with archive scripts etc without a worry.

please let me know if any more info is needed.
