I posted this script request last week, unfortunatly for me the programmer
dissapeared after a few days so I am only looking for a programmer with feedback
this time.
I require a simple PHP gallery to display wallpapers with a thumbnail and a
selection of resolutions.
The following features are needed
-Simple login system for staff members
-Category Listing with a small thumbnail preview (200x160px~) of latest
wallpaper in each category
-When the user clicks a category a complete list of wallpapers in that category
with small thumbnails is displayed
-When a wallpaper is clicked, a large thumbnail (400x320) is displayed, with the
author name, title and author comments, and a list of availible resolutions
(800x600, 1024x768, 1280x960, 1280x1024, 1600x1200).
-When a wallpaper is posted, I want to be able to write the URL location of each
wallpaper instead of using a file upload tool which most galleries have, I host
our wallpapers off site so I just want to type in
http://whatever.com/wallpaper800x600.jpg for each respective resolution and If
no url is entered for a certain resolution I dont want it to list that
resolution
And also:
-I also would like the last 5 wallpapers listed in a separate file so I can
include it in other pages
-I would also like to pick a featured wall and have it in a separate file, when
it is clicked I would like it to go into the resolution listing for that
wallpaper
-It would also be nice if the most popular wallpaper could be highlighted as the
most popular in some way, although this isn't necessary
-mod_rewrite rewritten links (e.g. category-name-wallpapernumber.html)
-The wallpaper gallery will be displayed within a current layout, so I need it
to demand a header and footer file.
-I do not need thumbnails to be resized
I have no doubt that despite the long list of requirements that this will be a
short task for a professional programmer. Payment will be made on completion and
an acceptable demonstration. Any questions can be asked about the project and I
am always open to suggestions!
