Details: Would like a very simple script that checks a list of URLs in a text file to see if they contain a link back to a defined URL. If the link doesnt exist the admin should be given the option to be able to delete the link from the text file. The original script that generates the file to be checked is at http://www.linkxxxchange.com/ What I want is a "checkurl.php" script that opens up links.inc.php (default file in linkxxxchange script) and checks those sites to see if they still have the link back to my main URL that I gave them. The "checkurl.php" script can grab the link to be checked for out of config.inc.php (default file in linkxxxchange script) Id also like it to use some regex expression where the whole line is deleted as some sites will use different seperators between the URLs. But it should always be one URL per line. I would also like an option like "checkurl.php?delete=auto" that can be called by a cron that allows auto deletion of missing links. Need to have some very basic check to make sure the server is okay - eg grab google home page first to make sure connection is okay and then check URLs. Id like this to be as simple as possible - so a single file that can be uploaded. Id suggest you download http://www.linkxxxchange.com/ and have a quick look.
