The solution would allow me to offer my resellers the functionality of a shopping cart, where I would maintain (centrally) the product catalog and wholesale price (and optionally a profit sharing % like wildwest does), and the reseller would be able to specify the selling price to his customers. I also need to be able to specify a sale fee (as a %, plus transaction fee). Also, gateways to PayPal/other merchant accounts need to be part of the shopping cart. Resellers would need an area where they can see reports of their sales, and have the ability to request a check (or configure it to be monthly/bimonthly, etc) so they can receive their profits. The solution needs to be able to calculate shipping charges to the customer's address. It should also provide for an "in-store pickup" feature where the customers could pick up the items at the reseller's shop. The reseller should be able to generate his own promotional coupons for things like $$ off, or a fixed % off, free shipping, etc. - for any orders or for orders over xx amount of $$. I would retain full ownership of the script(s) after the project is done, including the right to install on multiple servers and/or resell the product if I wanted to.
