Now make sure you read and re-read this. This is SPORTS. Football (American) recruiting is very big in high school for college football fans. Same goes for basketball. Make sure you understand before bidding. I have a database started, but the guy couldn't finish it (too much time with school). What I need is a database system to where I can enter players (recruits) from an admin area and then that information will show up on a series of different searches. Take a look at these recruiting databases to get an idea how they look and work. http://www.orangepower.com/recruiting/ http://oklahomastate.rivals.com/prosearch.asp?sport=1 http://scout.scout.com/a.z?s=181&p=9&c=4 http://insider.espn.go.com/insider/recruiting/recruits Now, the top three links are best to show what I need. Now to try and explain the pages... This would be the search page, where users can search for players/teams/schools/etc. - http://oklahomastate.rivals.com/prosearch.asp?sport=1 This is the result of a single search on a player. This is what you would call the "Players Card" - http://oklahomastate.rivals.com/viewprospect.asp?pr_key=20339 This would be the possition ratings and listings. - http://oklahomastate.rivals.com/viewprospect.asp?pr_key=20339 This would be the committment list for that College/University - http://oklahomastate.rivals.com/commitlist.asp?SID=932&School=58&Sport=1&Year=2005 1. Admin area should have: - Place to add/remove new high schools with contact information - Place to add/remove colleges/universities with contact information - Place to add new possitions - Place to add new players - Place where I can add general news - Place where I can add PLAYER news that would show on the 'players card'. - Place where we can archive players by years. Say the 2004 class is over, we should be able to archive those and only show the 2005 class. The players card as linked above will be what the users see. That information will be there to view. In fact, there is more there but you have to pay to see that. I can exlain that to you if needed. The players card shows a photo, his name, height and weight, physical stats, possition, season stats, etc. Also will show what college are interested in him and who he is interested in. Articles would be added under the admin area, we should be able to pick the player that article goes to, then once you click ENTER, it will shoot over to that players card. There is a lot of little things... but my best thing would be to say, study the three sites above and well. That's what I need. The backend, admin end is a lot of work as well but I know everything that would need to be added. I'm setting this bid at $100 max, but would be willing to go higher... but NOT THAT HIGH. I can't afford a lot. I would be willing to keep you on as a full-time admin for anything that would need to be done in pgp. So, think of it as a long term realtionship startion! Questions, let me know... Again, you should UNDERSTAND AMERCIAN FOOTBALL and even more, UNDERSTAND HOW HIGH SCHOOL RECRUITING TO COLLEGES WORK!!! That's so big.
