Description:	Hi there, I have a forum community using phpbb that has about 760 members and 150,000 posts. I have installed Xoops, and would like to transfer the following over from PHPBB: 1) User info: All user info, so my current members do not have to sign-up again. I've taken a look at the 2 tables in MySQL, and there are some slight differences between the 2 "user_tables" that prevent me from uploading the phpbb user accoints to Xoops. We would need to modify the phpbb userfile so that it will work with Xoops. 2) Transfer all posts & topics from PHPBB to the forum in Xoops: I have already created the same forums in Xoops that I have currently in PHPBB, so all we need to do is somehow move the large number of posts, if possible. That's about it. The challenge will be the posts, & topics, since the tables are so huge. Unfprtunately, I don't have root access to the server, but I'm sure I can get my host to zip the database dump so it can be worked with. Thanks! Additional Info (Added 4/3/2005 at 13:39 EST)... Hi, Upon further review, here is a little more info on the project: 1) The "Xoops_users" table has more rows in it than the 'phpbb_users" table. This means that a straight dump of the phpbb users info will not work, since the columns won't match. So, it looks like the following: A) We have to somehow manipulate the php user info to include the extra fields required by the xoops_user table, and remove the info that it doesn't need (There are some fields that are unique to phpbb that would not be used in xoops. B) Same issue more than likely for the posts, posts text & topics tables.
