I have a custom made php search engine.
Now I'm having some problems with the next / prev string.
1) Basically if a two or more word phrase is entered into the search then when
you press the next button, it only carries the first word over to the next page.
(making the results on the 2nd page irrelevant to what was searched for.)
2) If there are 500 results, it displays links to 50 pages like
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17.... and so on.
I want this to change to display only ten, then when number 10 is clicked, it
displays 11 - 20 and when number 20 is clicked it displays 21 - 30 just like
google and all the other engines do.
3) It currently also displays the search URL as
www.mydomain.com/search/search.php
No matter what is searched for. It would be great to unlock this so urls to
specific searchs could be copied and pasted.
Payment via paypal - looking to get these small mods sorted tonight / tommorrow.
No silly bids - it will only take an hour or two maximum for a good programmer
to do these mods.
