at the bottom of the main page as well as on my links page.....costs need to be low please. I need to create a members only section for my site - Set up an online database (that I can enter my info for over 800 companies) that will include all important company contact info, photos, company categories, etc...so my members can view the companies after they pay by pay pal, or 2 checkout. It needs to also be password protected for each page in the members section. I will enter all data for companies on my own, but need the database set up for me to do so. Customers will need to be able to search out companies by various ways: alphabetically, by company type, category, products offered, by location, etc...for easy finding. In the members area I also need to set up a FOR MEMBERS ONLY articles, resources, and ebooks area....I will again be adding the content for all these but need a way to have these be also in the members area, password protected, and so I can add, delete, edit, etc....each item... I also need a simple design for the top of the members area graphic( i design for each page to have at the top...) as well as simple black/white/red navigation buttons at the top for : 1) Members only articles, 2) Ebooks 3) Helpful Resources 4) Companies Please reply w/ questions, and I will be glad to provide more info... I want to keep the info on a server NOT on my computer in case my computer crashes the customers still have info... MYSQL is what people recommended to me (PHP)...but let me know what you recommend. MORE DETAILS HERE: And there will be simply 5 links (button style..large icons) at the top of the page for 1) MEMBERS ONLY ARTICLES 2) EBOOKS 3) HELPFUL RESOURCES 4) WHOLESALERS, Dropshippers, Liquidators 5) MEMBERS SECTION HOME (takes them back to the welcome to members section page....) (I will have these 5 links at the top of EVERY single members section page...so they can move around as they chose to. ) In the articles section, I will write my own articles to give my customers with valuable info...it should look like an article database..where they see the article title, and a sentance or so...of lead in with a link (and they click on it to see entire article). I need to update, edit, delete, and add as I chose these articles. For ebooks....I need it to be a place I can upload ebooks...I will need to be able to upload an ebook cover graphic, as well as a PDF version of ebook....I will have eventually about 5 or so ebooks. For the resources section of the members area, it just needs to be similar to articles...I will tell them companies, products I recommend...and say a page or so of info about that product and why they should buy it...and include a link so they can go there...so it will be similar to the articles database area.... EVERY page of the members only section (including members only articles, ebooks, resources, and wholesalers area NEEDS to be password protected for optimum security ! I cant have anyone giving a friend the web address to ANY page in the members area and getting in.... Also, I need set up a REGULAR articles database area...to show public people my written articles...for free....this will NOT be in the members area...but another public area on my site. I need help putting that in place too. Let me know if you have any questions, and what details you need to get started.... _______ ABOUT THE WHOLESALERS, LIQUIDATORS, DROPSHIPPERS section below: Customers will need to be able to SEARCH for wholesale companies based on search criteria like by: Alphabetically (by company name or by website name), by company type (wholesaler, dropshipper, liquidator), by product type that they sell (electronics, clothing, housewares, drug store items, adult items, etc.).... This is the info I will need to be able to write about each company within the wholesale companies database section: 1) email address 2) mailing address 3) phone 4)fax number 5) website address 6) what they specialize in 7) why do I recommend them 8) important notes 9) company type (wholesaler, dropshipper, or liquidator) 10) 3 helpful links - header of these links will say WHAT TYPE of link it is: for example...HELPFUL LINK 1: DROPSHIP INFO PAGE - www.abc.com/dropship.html (basically i tell customers the exact web address to 3 helpful pages within the site..for quick access).... All links need to be clickable so they can go there directly.... And I need a place for 3 photos for each company that I will upload from their site (sample photos of products they sell)...
