Description: |
We are developing a php/mysql driven website that currently needs to be heavily rewritten. The site uses a database of zip codes, each record contains a state id. When an individual performs a search listings are returned which correspond with the state id where the zip code is located. So if a user enters 90021 all listings within state id CA (California) are returned. This part of the site is written and is functional. We also have a database of listings. Listings include photos and a photo archive as well as listing information. As of now the script is powered by the smarty template engine. That can be kept or changed. However, when a user does a search the result that comes up is pulled from the admin area. Like this: http://www.domain.com/index.php?view=Admin/Listing/Index&zip=50021 We would like that search instead to be directed to: http://www.domain.com/index.php?view=User/Listing/Index&zip=50021 This is simple, however the nav bar at the bottom of the page also needs to be changed so that the links also point to pages within the User/Listing index. We have listings categorized with information in a database. We would like to have the ability to renumber listings and have those changes be reflected in search results. Listings are connected with an image folder. So if we renumber the listings via the mysql database (php myadmin) the images are no longer going to correspond with the listing. The other problem is that when we have renumbered listings the change has not been reflected in the search results. So if we renumbered listing number 1 to listing number 10000 listing number 10000 showed up ahead of listing number 4. We would like to have an added feature, and that would be for premium listings. A nationwide premium listing would have all the normal details filled out, however it would be viewable in all zip code search results. Also, a nationwide premium listing will pull a value that corresponds with the zip code from the dbase and show that in the result. This value will change based upon zip code. A similar added feature will be a statewide featured listing. A statewide featured listing will return the result for each state and substitute a value that corresponds with the zip code. These listings will only appear when results for that state are pulled. Would like the ability to set a listings access to public. So that non paying members can access a listings information. Additional records will need to be added to the database for foreign countries and cities. So that our site can support the uk, Canada, and Australia. Also, a design image needs to be added and made linkable to an existing image. So we would have the thumb image that loads a larger image if a larger image is available. The image can be set up to correspond with a numbered listing. Finally, certain data sets are not set to be viewable on the results page, they can only be viewed on the details page of the individual listing. We need that to be changed. Beyond the zip code based results (organized by state) we would like other categories to be included as well. Those would be organized by country and region within country. With your advice would like to have php sessions used to track use of the site. Design. Ecommerce integration. (probably Verotel) Integration of http://www.phorum.org/ for use within a posting (community section) of the website. A new script will need to be written, we can keep the database or have a new one be written. To bid: Please include a list of sites you have worked on. A small working portfolio. Site is adult in nature. Just making sure you are aware of that. Related Projects: This project is the proprietary information of .
