---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Have a current PHP Role-Playing (RPG) website that was recently rebuilt with IntegraMOD PHP Portal. http://www.integramod.com ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A dice roller for the forums. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please find attached the various forms I've modified to show how I would like the entries and forms to look. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Step ONE: The post (SEE - roll_dice.jpg) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If the user wishes to post a dice roll to the forum, they click the ROLL DICE button instead of the POST REPLY button ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Step Two: Dice Data Information (SEE - dice_roll_entry.jpg) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The user inputs all of the specifications for the dice roll(s). From left to right (and then top to bottom)in the attached file we have: Reason for Roll (text input for a post title, "#" (or the NUMBER of dice to roll), MOD (or the numeric modification added/subtracted to the end result of the dice roll. This RESULT is a finite number and NOT multipled in case of multiple dice), Roll Description (a textual addition to explain the die roll), Add Results? (asking the user whether to display each individual roll or ADD the results of all dice rolled in that catergory together)...for example: the user inputs 6 d6 +2. The user can select to see all 6 d6 rolls or ADD the total of 6d6 together. TARGET NUMBER (users input a number here, if the result of the roll EXCEEDS this entry, the roll is posted as a SUCCESS!. If it does not, it is posted as a failure. If the field is left blank, there is no target # applied), Add Dice (The user should be able to add as many dice as necessary to the post), Critical (The user inputs a number here, if the d20 roll exceeds that number, the roll is posted as a CRITICAL. If the entry is left blank, there is no critical applied). ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part Three: Forum Post (SEE - post_entry_diceroll.jpg) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is the format of the post. Ask questions as necessary. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part Four: Administration (SEE - forum_admin_dice.jpg) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is the administration page for the forums. We want to be able to ALLOW, DISALLOW or LIMIT who has permission to post DICE ROLLS. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please ask questions as necessary.
