Description: |
Here's a simple RegEx job that shouldn't tax you if you know your stuff .. The problem: I have a string which I need parsed for URLs. Note this is NOT anchor tagged urls, just things like the following ... http://www.google.com http://www.makemusic.com/press_releases.aspx?pid=71 http://finaletips.nu/forum/viewtopic.php?p=224#224 The string is a discussion between people, and may contain none, one or even multiple URLs. I want them all loaded into an array. Here's an example string ... "I was looking around the web yesterday and found a couple of relevant pages, one at http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&safe=off&q=destroy+variable+php&btnG=Search&meta= and another at https://forum.joesgarage.net - when you've assimilated the info send me the new files via ftp://ftp.newmission.ac.uk" The string may well contain references to dynamic sites with query strings in the URL. The string may contain URLs that start with ftp:// or https:// or svn:// etc. This thing needs to capture all URLs, even if they appear as the last thing in the string, so don't presume a whitespace will follow. NOTE: When the job is complete I want to see an online demo in which I can try strings and that will return me a list of the URLs it has found. Once it can grab every URL from whatever test string I throw at it then I'll happily hand over the fee. You can send me the online demo PHP file code as the code submission. The code becomes my property to exploit as I wish, you acknowledge this condition by quoting or the job. This job is ONLY PHP, I'm not interested in any other solution.
