We are starting a new company based out of Portland, OR called 'pdxpros' and will need a freelance programmer to develop our site. The site will need to be simplistic and yet functionable at the same time. Example: www.servicemagic.com There will need to be the following feature's: Multiple User Registration with certain privileged access. Listings System (1 type of user will be able to post listings to a directory and not view other listings... while another type of user will not be able to post but will be able to view the listings.) The first type of user account will be called a 'consumer' which will be able to register an account and be given a control panel for managing their listing's and profile. The 'consumer' will also be able to view their listing's, view # of hits by 'contractor' user's to their listings, be given a 'favorite's list and be able to browse a directory of currently registered premium 'contractor' users and add them to their favorite's list. Example: A 'consumer' user register's on our site.. They login and are presented with a control panel where they have the following options: My Account Manage Profile - modify contact information (telephone, email, etc.) Manage Listing's - (view, modify, remove their listings) Manage Contractor's - (view, modify, remove contractors) Manage Request's (manage contact information request's by contractors) Browse Contractor's - (view contractors directory) --------END EXAMPLE-------- The second type of user will be a 'contractor' which will be able to register a premium account selecting from various premium packages (pay via paypal), view listings in the project 'directory', respond to project listings via email (masked by a randomly generated email address - to keep 'consumer' contact info private.) A 'contractor' user can either send an email to the 'consumer' who posted the listing or ask for permission to view the 'consumer' account's contact information via a 'contact request form. ------------- The Directories: Their will need to be two directories (2). The first directory will be of posted listing's by 'consumer' account types which are only viewable by 'contractor' accounts. This directory called the 'Project Listing's MUST only be viewable by the 'contractor' user account to prevent contractor's from registering as a 'consumer' user to avoid paying for the service. The SECOND directory will be of registered premium contractors and can be viewed by both consumer's and contractors. Each directory will be sorted by Categories/ Sub-categories. A 'consumer' account will be able to post a project listing describing their budget, project, and give the consumer the opportunity to select contractors out of the contractor directory they they prefer to directly notify of their new listing or not. If a 'contractor' is selected to be notifed the 'consumer's contact information will be automatically sent to the contractor's specified email address, if not the contractor will have to go through the above process to gain access to the consumer's information.. ------------------------- The next factor will be an advertisement system where companies can register an account for free at start where an adminstrator will contact them via information they have provided. ------------------------- The Adminstration System The following features will be available to the head administrative account.
