Description: |
This is an easy project for a programmer who knows what they are doing. I basically need an example script to parse the url that called it into a a couple of variables. I also need it to generate a random number and store into a variable. The details: 1) parse the keywords from the url and creates variables. May be one word or many words. If more than one word it will be separated by an underscore. I'm using a rewrite in the .htaccess file which allows me to pass the url to this script. example URLS: domainurl.com/path/my_multi_word_phrase.html = my multi word phrase domainurl.com/path/dogs.html = dogs domainurl.com/path/coffee_cup.html = coffee cup 2) create 3 different variables. a) word1+word2+word3 - create a variable that includes all the words and replace the underscore with a pluse '+'. b) word1 word2 word3 - make word(s) all lower case, and if exists, replace the underscore with a space ' '. c) Word1 Word2 Word3 - make first letter the keyword captiized, and if exists, replace the underscore with a space ' ' and make all words first character capital. 3) create a random variable. I provide 2 numbers and a number is randomly generated between the two. Example: a number between 30 and 45 (including the numbers 30 and 45 as possibles) I would also like the option to just set to 1 number (essentially turning off the random number and I set a static number) I figure there are two ways to do this, either via logic where I enter a number and turn off the generator, or simply by me entering 40 and 40 as the two numbers. Your choice on what is easier. That's it! Let me know if you have any questions. Related Projects: This project is the proprietary information of .
