OSCOMMERCE FIX: This should be a quick fix for anyone who works with oscommerce
and meets the following criteria. This may lead to other oscommerce work on a
regular basis if your price is right and you can get this done successfully in a
reasonable time frame. More on this later.
QUALIFICATIONS / CRITERIA: Before you bid, you MUST meet the following criteria.
If you do not, don't bid:
- You have done install and worked with oscommerce version MS2.
- You have installed / worked with the Featured Products contribution.
- You have installed / worked with the Sales Maker contribution.
DETAILS:
Simple project. The store has FEATURED PRODUCTS and SALES MAKER contributions
installed. The store owner does not use product specials but specifically uses
ONLY the sales maker for marking down product prices.
However the product pricing doesn't show up properly in certain areas of the
site. Your job is to adjust coding to do the following:
1. /includes/modules/featured.php is to show the sales maker product price,
versus the default price. This page currently does not show the prices set by
the sales maker.
2. specials.php: Currently only shows product specials. This page needs to be
adjusted so it will:
a. Check to see if any sales exist.
b. If so then show all products on sale.
c. If no sales exist, then go through normal specials query.
Pretty straight forward on these items.
