I need the following contribution modified to my needs:

My Needs are:
We would like to display 9 Featured Products on our Main page using the
following method.
There will be 2 boxes on main page.
The First one will have only 1 product with small description with more info and
add to cart button.
The Second Box: Will have 8 featured products listed with only images, prices,
more info link and add to cart button.
NOW: We need to modify the contribution to randomly select 9 random products and
display it in the two boxes. The catch is, each and every time the product is
listed it should only be shown 1 once.
For example: Product 1 is displayed in the first box then Product 1 should not
be displayed in the Second box.
The contribution already exists but need modification to show only unique
products and not show double products in 2 boxes.
