Hi,
I am tendering a project to design an insurance quotation script. my site
www.onlineinsurancequotes.ca has quotation request forms which currently store
information in a mysql database. I need a script that will take form submission
and return quotations from several insurance companies.
The challenge is that each insurance company has different products that require
different information from the user.
The necessary information to determine quotations for all companies is Province,
Applicant, Applicant Smoker?, Applicant Sex, Spouse, Spouse Smoker? Spouse Sex,
Number of Children, Children Ages.
I can provide rate sheets from all the insurance companies. Most companies have
mandatory coverages as well as optional coverages. I would like to have editable
product descriptions for each of the coverages available. Also, I would like to
have the ability to add and subtract companies and coverages as the industry
keeps changing.
Also, I would like to incorporate a affiliate program management interface into
this script. This script will allow me to manage users and define payout
amounts. Also, I would like to provide status reports to the affiliates.
Attached is my feeble attempt at flowcharting the project. I am not a
programmer. I understand basic database design. I will help define all the
relationships between the fields.
