FULL FEATURE OSCOMMERENCE
These are essensial elements but not limited to.
To start with our site is already designed and live. We like the design, but the
oscommerence sucks big time. To many bugs and to much time spent on programmers
we were over a year patient with, that don’t know programming. We probably need
the overall DB de bugged and or declustered, if you understand. We had
programmers from India, come in to fix what the first company in India could not
do. We paid for a full from scratch rebuild, but when we look under the hood we
see that they used bandaids and patchwork and not fresh source. So here we are
two shity programmers from SL, paid, and we still live with roaches. With that
said we are not in the mood for BS. We are trying to grow our business but if we
cant trust the frontend to be user friendly and the backend not able to keep
track of what the frontend is doing, we be outa bizness.
Lets start with X-Cart as an example of features, then some tweaking and
customization to fit our needs and we got it consumer ready. With that said we
want those features like X-cart, got it?
Now things we need that the cookie cutter product does not do.
We have three types of clients.
5. RETAIL CUSTOMERS: Self explanatory, they buy product at retail prices. Some
time sent to themselves or sometime they want them shipped as a gift. Pay
through paypal / paypal without pp account using credit card, or send a check to
us.
6. WHOLESALE CUSTOMERS: These are usually doctors, stores that carry our
products. They have to sign up for a wholesale account and then submit to admin
then we review and activate their account. Then we notify them through admin
that their account is active. They can then login to their account and order/
look up their past orders, etc. from web. They will only see wholesale prices
for products. They purchase at a wholesale price. Some like us to drop ship to
their clients, so multiple shipto is needed. Example: doctor buys 12 bottles and
wants us to ship 1 bottle to 12 different peoples addresses through this one
order. The doctor pays for the order and all shipping to individual addresses.
Need P.O. and invoice that will be in admin and be able to email to doctor. Pay
through paypal / paypal without account using credit card, or send a check to
us.
7. DISTRIBUTOR CUSTOMERS: These are clients that purchase from us at a
distributor price, then sell to wholesale accounts they have. They have to sign
up for a distributor account and then submit to admin then we review and
activate their account. Then we notify them through admin that their account is
active. They can then login to their account and order/ look up their past
orders, etc. from web. They will only see distributor prices for products. They
purchase at a distributor price. Some like us to drop ship to their clients, so
multiple shipto is needed. Example: distributor buys 12 bottles and wants us to
ship 1 bottle to 12 different wholesale addresses through this one order. The
distributor pays for the order and all shipping to individual addresses. Need

8. AGENTS / BROKERS: These type of accounts do not warehouse our inventory. They
instead go out and open accounts with distributors for us. We then pay them a
15% commission and usually a 2-3% override. Pay through paypal / paypal without

now. We need to set prices for this as well.
NOTE: Not every wholesale account or distributor account will pay the same price
for product. Account A, might have to pay $10 per bottle, and account B might
have to pay $12 per bottle.
Also as we know people make mistakes and ino changes from time to time so we /
they need to be able to change their account information from time to time. Also
with all orders no matter which account type must be able to delete when it is
bogus or wrong.
PRODUCT DETAILS
3. FOR OUR INGESTIBLE PRODUCTS SUCH AS REDFUEL we need detail ingriedents
listing as on the site now, with click to see ingrident benefits of each
ingrident.

and ability to add/edit/delete from admin. This includes pricing so we can price
for wholesale, retail, and distributors. But the twist is that we may have to
from time to time over ride these boilerplate prices for certain accounts.
4. But when we add products or books or things that do not require the
ingriedent listing we need this option as well. Right now we do not and it is a
pain.
PAYMENTS FROM ALL CUSTOMERS
2. Paypal intergration for payment (paypal account and non account credit card
payment through paypal) We already have and it is set up. But this sucks the way
these programmers did it and it is unstable.
D. Offline payment: this is an option that allows a customer to make an order
then print it out and send us a check. Information goes to admin also.
E. All transactions will go to admin so we know who has paid by paypal /credit
card and who is sending a check. So we need to know who has paid , who is
sending a check, and hat our accounts receivables are.
F. Payapl and credit card payments will go to our bank account.

SHIPPING
3. UPS AND FEDX SHIPPING OPTIONS AND COST CACULATIONS. Right now we only have
ups set up.
4. WEIGHT: we consider the weight of the “product” and then we consider the
weight of the total package (bottle, box, packing, tape, etc) to be shipped and
this would be the final weight for shipping costs.
ACCOUNTING.
We need to know transaction histories etc, so we can track and or answer
question for clients when thy have p.o. or invoice questions. You can see how it
works now on the site for all web functions. Then when we give you the bid we
will give you access to under the hood for db tweaking and admin tweaking.
Does this give you enough to know if this is a project for you? Oh and since we
wasted almost two years with these other SL programmers with still bugs, give us
a realistic time frame , because while this is all screwed up and while you go
