This should be an easy enough project for someone. Please take a look at uploadhut.com. I need a file upload service very similar to this. In essence - User can upload file of X kilobytes. I can easily decide what value X can be. I can decide what extensions are allowed. I can decide when the files "expire" - when they are deleted by a cron. When the file is uploaded, the user is given a link which he can use if he wants to delete the file. He is also given some code which he can use to link to the file in forums etc. The link for the file always ends in the extension name of his file... i.e. me.mpg. Right clicking the file and clicking save as, will NOT download the file. The user must left click it. When someone left clicks on the file to view it, a webpage is opened where he can download the file. In this page I will have adverts etc. As the site administrator I need to be able to see on a website what files have been uploaded (the links to the files including their size and when they were uploaded.) I also want to be able to see what webpages have linked to the file (i.e. if the user puts a link to the file on website x and y, I want to be able to see the links to x and y.) I also need a "friends" list. This is a list of website URLs which are allowed to right click any files and save as. They do NOT have to left click the files to open a webpage where they can save the files. There may be a few more items, but this is generally what needs to be done.
