I am in need of an events calendar that will allow users to add their own event details to. I do not want a ready made package I would much prefer to have it written from scratch. I have used most of the ready made packages before and I do not like them for one reason or another. Brief outline of functions I require are I need a user to be able to select a date, from a drop down menu system and then have the ability to add a specific event or recurring series of events to that specific date or dates. This event will show on the dates of the calendar for the month(s) as a ‘clickable' subject heading for the viewer. Clicking on the link will expand the event where full details are shown for the event. I will possibly need some kind of log-in system to ensure that only the original poster of the event can modify or delete the events that they have posted so please include that in your bid. One example of the basic functionality can be found at www.norwich-events.co.uk. In your bid please provide details of your time zone for example GMT +1 or whetever. In PMB I would like to see links to samples of previous PHP/MySQL projects that you have coded. No samples, no selection. More accurate specification will be available at a later date. I will require full rights to this script for use in web sites that I implement. The script itself will not be for ‘reselling'. I do have a budget for the whole project but I welcome all bids.
