Basically something similar to: http://www.modyourcar.com.au/ The one click search feature on fist page is good. -Low stock warning on first page of backend 1 or 2 left or at minimum stock level. -Out of stock warning on first page of backend (more urgent looking) -When inventory is out of stock it is no longer listed on the frontend - need a report of whats out of stock, low in stock (printable) - report of all items listed, quantiy in stock and total value of online stock. (printable) -sales reports for accounting (printable) -GST (tax) enabled, in Australia we have 10% GST on everything including freight. A working paypal module with Australian Dollars. -Customer request page, for parts not listed (can use contact us form) -Don't need languages / currency selection / product reviews -Website time in frontend and backend need to be synced with local time, (server in different country) - simple content management for first page on front end. 1 or 2 articles max, don't need something a complicated as newsdesk with categories etc, just somewhere were we can post an alert that a new vehicle is coming in for wrecking. -trade discount where customers can be approved as trade customers and receive a different price, 2 prices can be specified when adding a product online. -Multiple images -When adding products to be able to specify minimum levels of stock, and if unspecified then say 2 will be default. I have used and modified oscommerce before and I know it's a good foundation, I'm open to suggestions though if you think there is something better available, please send me links to your previous work and/or examples and give me any suggestions.
