Finish some PHP customizations, altering a pre-built calendar program. Coding
style is mixed OOP and file includes. There are two or three copies of most
controller and view files, which means that edits must often be done in two or
three places, and each route must be tested.
List of requirements:
1. Add a new mysql column to the `events` table (`website`).
2. Change the HTML display throughout the program
a. Daily and weekly views: The event title should be listed under the category,
a brief starting description, Time, then location.
b. Monthly views: insert javascript onclick=... links so that user can click on
the event for an individual pop-up listing window.
c. pop-up views of event listing: add new `website` field.
3. Fix drop-down menus throughout the site, so that they display both the
category and calendar. This has been fixed already in two places, I can show you
the code.
4. Replace the `Suggest an Event` form throughout the site. Split into two
pages: first `select a category`, then refresh to the main `Suggest an Event`
form. It's finished already in one place, so simply install the files and sample
code to the other location.
5. Change all the affected SQL statements to insert the new fields
6. Change all the affected controller code
7. Change all the affected view code
8. DEBUG !
9. Add some time to fix common-sense flaws, error handling, fool-proofing,
smooth program flow, etc.
10. Install on my dev server.
