I am looking to create a site similiar to Craigslist.Com, but with many different features & layouts. Category/SubCategory(Sections) = Auto, Real Estate, Jobs, etc. Locations/SubLocations = New York, Florida, California, etc. I would like to have the site created/setup so that it is very flexible and allows me to create additional sections/categories if needed. For Example, on the Admin Section there would be 'Add Category/Section', 'Edit Category/Section', 'Delete Category/Section'. This would allow me to manage the different Categories/Sections as necessary. I believe this is already built-in to most scripts. I will also need this functionality for SubCategories/Sections. The ability to Add/Edit/Delete them as needed. This is also already built-in most scripts. Next, for each Category/SubCategory(Section) I need the ability to control the questions that are asked. Therefore when creating new Categories/SubCategories, I should be able to create the questions that will be asked when making a posting within that Category. These questions will be different for each and every Category. The ability to Add/Edit/Delete questions could be listed under the 'Edit Category' link for each specific Category/SubCategory. When creating questions I should also be able to select whether they are searchable questions. This means that users of the site will be able to use the question to search the listings on the site. For Example, I could create 'Year' as a question. If I select the question to be searchable, users will be able to search by 'Year' on the Front-End User Side of the site. Locations. I should be able to create all Locations/SubLocations from the Admin Side of the site. I believe that this is already built-in to most scripts as well. Locations & SubLocations should be displayed in Drop Down Boxes rather than being listed on the side of the site. When posting listings, users will answer the required questions, be able to upload pictures, and then post their listing. Depending on which pages they are searching on the site, Location will be defaulted to that part of the site. Example, if they are looking within New York, when posting the listing New York will be defaulted in as the location. User Registration Required. Users will have to verify their e-mail address in order activate their account. Users should also be able to manage their listings on the site. The layout of each Location on the site will need to be editable as well. The look of the New York page would look different from pages in the California section. These should be editable from the Admin Section. Also, I will need the site setup so users can view all listings and locations on the site if they would like. The ability to charge a listing fee per each Category/SubCategory(Section) is also required. I should be able to charge different amounts for each Section on the site. So to sum things up, I need the following: -User Registration. E-mail Verification -My Listings Page. Users can Add/Edit/Delete Listings -Add/Edit/Delete Categories & SubCategories -Add/Edit/Delete Locations & SubLocations -Add/Edite/Delete Questions for each Category & SubCategory -Add/Edit/Delete Posting Fees for each Category/SubCategory -Custom Layouts for each Location,SubLocation, Categories, & SubCategories. All pages should be editable very easily. That should be about all that is required for the site. Demo's of the basic script that you will be using are a plus. Let me know if you have any questions.
