Description: |
I have re-posted this project as there were some serious family health problems I needed to deal with and unfortunately the project was closed before I could get back to it. Everything is going well now and I'm excited about moving forward with my project! My apologies to those that took the time to bid before and I hope you will bid again! Thanks in advance to all interested parties! In need of coupon site with capabilities for subdomains to define local regions. i.e. detroit.themainsitedomain.com boston.themainsitedomain.com The main site home page will provide for site visitors to choose their locale from a drop down menu. Within these local regions merchant ads, specials, and coupons will be available to the site visitor. Visitors can click on the merchant's ad to see company details, offerings and coupon specials. The merchant's detail page will also have a link to mapquest so the visitor can easily find the merchant's store. When the site visitor clicks on a coupon from the details page or from site wide coupon/ad rotation they will be presented with a printable coupon they can take to the merchant's store. Site Admin will have the ability to logon within any locale and add the all of the company details when space is sold to a merchant: company name, days/hours of operation, address, phone(s) fax, company url (to be launched in new window), a link to Mapquest (to be launched in a new window), a couple of paragraphs about the business (1000 characters), two photos of their business or staff etc, a business card sized ad for rotation as a "Spotlighted Merchant" and as a "Featured Merchant", a slightly smaller ad (70% smaller) for display in a "deal of the day" section. Merchants that have purchased space will be allowed to add coupons and specials as often as they want and it is important that the coupons include an expiration date, as the coupons need to be automatically deleted following the expiration date. There will not be a need for ssl or ecommerce as all sales/contracts will be derived from a sales staff calling on merchants within their locale. Once a contract is signed a username and password will be assigned to the merchant by the site admin through an administrative backend. This admin backend will need to allow for the site admin to enter and make modifications to any merchant's details and/or offerings to ensure nothing inappropriate is placed on the site. The site admin section will need to allow the admin to add new localities to the system as necessary. This means that it will basically replicate the site structure with a unique mysql database for that locale. The database for that locale will coincide with a new sub-domain. (example: boston.themainsite.com detroit.themainsite.com houston.themainsite.com) Each subdomain for a locality will be a cookie-cutter with the only difference being the merchants and their offerings. Each sub-domain will consist of the following dynamic pages: a main page, a company details page, a values page, a printable coupon page, an instant deals page, a businesses page, a list page, an instant value page. Each will also have the following static pages: a weekly specials opt-in email page, thank you for signing up, an about page, and a privacy page. The opt-in email will need to add users to the database specific to the locale they signed-up in. A breakdown of the dynamic pages. main locality page: presents a random "spotlight" business (has a business card size ad and a business summary drawn from the company's description and has a link for more info which takes the visitor to the company's detail page), a "Deals of the Day" section (randomly listing three business's deals -each business shown has it's smaller ad displayed with a link to the company details page, as well as, a deal they have offered with a link directly to that special), a keyword, category and merchant search section, an instant values section (lists links to the 5 latest offers and links to the detail page of the merchant that listed them, followed by a link at the bottom to a list of all offerings) a "featured merchants" section (randomly listing 10 business card sized ads linked to each company's details page). This page also needs a link for site visitors to sign-up for weekly email alerts for that locale. company details page: Details section presents company name, slogan, small ad, summary/description (1000 characters). Contact info section presents location (with dynamic link to mapquest), days/hours of operation, phone(s), fax, web site URL (opens in new window), space for up to two images, as many deals coupons or specials as they care to list (clickable- opens printable coupon in new window). printable coupon page: (new window) Lists the Merchant's Company name, address and phone. The coupon special offered, expiration date, our logo and url with subdomain which will let the merchant know they are getting value from our service. The coupon window will include a print button and a close window button. businesses page: listing a "spotlighted" business (randomly generated with a link to their details page) a listing of newly added businesses (with their phone numbers and hot links to their details page), a link to the "list" page, a search by keyword, a "go to" dropdown of all businesses, and a "go to" category dropdown, (lists the last specials/coupons added) and has a link to the opt-in email for weekly specials. list page: lists all participating businesses within the locale and hotlinks to their details page. Search function by keyword, category or merchant. instant value page: lists the merchants with the last specials/coupons added (includes links to the merchant's detail page and the "coupon" page. Search function by keyword, category, or merchant. Link to weekly specials email sign up. The Admin section needs to have two levels of administration: A. Site Owner B. Merchant Site Owner: The site owner admin will need to have access to enter ALL merchant data and to be able to add, delete, or modify. (Although merchants will be listing and adding their own offerings the site admin needs to be able to modify or remove inappropriate listings.) Site admin will also need to be able to add and delete merchant user accounts and assign usernames and passwords. Also, a file upload function will be required to add images. The images to be uploaded will be a small storefront image, a business card size ad, and smaller version (70%) of the business card size ad. Constraints on image size need to be incorporated. Finally, the admin will need to be able to easily add localities as subdomains, and these will logically need to have separate databases associated with each. The site owner will need to have access to email the site visitors that have signed-up to receive "Alerts" for each separate locality. Merchant: The merchant admin section will need to allow each participating merchant access to logon for their info only and will only need to give them access to adding, editing and/or deleting their coupon specials. Nothing else. Note, they will NOT be required to delete a coupon as it is expected to automatically be deleted upon expiration. Naturally we need to have fill in the blank fields for all necessary data in both admin sections. Here is an example of what we need to do, however this site is using Coldfusion: main page: http://www.suddenvalues.com/ locality page: http://annarbor.suddenvalues.com/ This project needs to be done in PHP and MySql.
