and generate leads for mail order catalog vendors. This will be similar to catalogs.com and shopathome.com. What I invision is: 1. A searchable directory frontend that will display search results in an ordered list with a with a title, description, and an image of the catalog cover. 2. When a visitor clicks on a catalog listing, he will be taken a "detail" page for that catalog. This page should include a more detailed description along with contact information and images of two or three products from the catalog. 3. An integrated shopping cart program to keep track of what catalogs have been requested. Each shopper should be required to register so that we can get basic contact info (name, mailing address, email address, etc.). 4. An integrated affiliate program that gives the affiliate credit for each person that is referred by him and registers to request a catalog. A way for the affiliate to view stats online would be nice as well. 5. A way to process completed requests on a weekly basis. Basically, we need a program that will grab all of the orders for a designated time frame and create a formatted email that includes the contact information for each shopper that has requested a specific catalog and send that email to the catalog vendor. Of course, we will need to do this for each catalog vendor. 6. Online stats for the catalog vendors. We would also like the catalog vendors to be able view how many requests they have had for their catalog and how much traffic we have sent to their websites. I know this is a very involved project but we would like to have this site live in 90-120 days. What do you think?
