Description: |
THE PROBLEM: I have a live PHP-based joke site. There is a large collection of unsorted jokes which simply need to be moved into the proper category. The problem is, that we're talking about thousands and thousands. All relevant code (the search function and the move function) is already written, I simply need a modification so that it performs as I desire. THE SOLUTION: Copying current code as needed, I need a simple page that will search for a word (ie - "lawyer"), and display all of the jokes with the word "lawyer" in them, then have checkboxes (with a "Select/Deselect all" option) next to each of them. Then I need the "Move selected" button to move all selected jokes to the category of my choosing (ie - "Lawyer jokes", aka "cat_id=##") using an UPDATE command to change nothing except that one field. This is a very basic PHP project. Total actual coding time should be considerably less than an hour. Therefore, any bid above $20 will be rejected out of hand. Additional Info (Added 12/14/2005 at 20:07 EST)... For the record, yes, all of the jokes are stored in a MySQL This project is the proprietary information of .
